I went to a writer’s meeting. Because I intended to hang out with fellow writers and learn from them.
I noticed that everyone was not writing but talking about writing. They showed some form of resistance to their creativity.
I was the same person years ago. I talked about being an author.
But I never did any form of writing. I decided to either start writing or stop talking about it.
A woman in the meeting found the need to go to Hypnotherapy to help her write more. She believes she has numerous ideas and plots in her mind. But she cannot find the courage to write.
Why You Need to Change From Within
When you go to writer’s workshops and hypnotherapies, you try to bring a change from the outside. You allow a person to take control of you. But the truth is that you need to take control of yourself.
If you don’t change your mindset from within, you’ll never create. What you create doesn’t have to be good or the best. It just demands to be created.
I wasted decades to bring that change and truly start writing. Seriously, I want to apologize to my younger self for not being brave. I would’ve achieved what I wanted much sooner rather than later.
When I look at myself now, I feel proud. I write 1000 words every single day. I put my thoughts into words.
Once you’ve changed from the core, it is the easiest thing to do. My heart, my brain, and my body need me to write.
How to Become a Writer – Write Every Day
Write every single day without fail. Write a sentence or a paragraph, or a page.
It does not matter how much or how well you write. To write is to be a writer.
