Welcome back to another episode! In this one, I want to talk about how things around us constantly manipulate our lives by getting into our mind palace. These things orchestrate us to be less of ourselves and to be less human.

  1. The world is constantly changing
  2. The ingrained view of almost everything
  3. How big corporations and media controls us
  4. Consumption takes away your creative energy
  5. Being self-aware and conscious

In my head, many ideas are placed in a certain way. I think that’s how the world works. When, suddenly, someone presents a different viewpoint to me, or I read something, I realize that’s not how the world is. It makes me think there is so much more to this world than I imagined.

Protect Your Mind Palace to the Utmost of Your Ability

When I was younger, there were only two genders – male and female. The only sexuality I knew was heterosexuality. Now, we have homosexuality. We also have transgender people. It proves the fact that we cannot put everyone in a box.

Another example is using Colgate as toothpaste. It contains fluoride, and it’s not good for us. But I never knew that because everyone around me, including the media, told me to use Colgate.

Things are constantly changing around us. Society wants to judge people and tell them how to live their lives. We have an ingrained view of almost everything.

These views were planted in our minds by big corporations and media by advertisement because they want to make money. Humans are puppets at this moment in time. We buy things that we don’t need all the time.

Consumption takes away our creative energy. We should start being conscious of things happening around us and stop them from manipulating us. The more aware and conscious I’m becoming, the more time I have to do my creative work.

Do your research. Find out if that’s how things are supposed to be. Do you need to get married? Or go to university? Do you need those expensive shoes? Think about little things around you that you believe are facts. They might not be.
