Everything Is Perfect In Hindsight So Make It So Right Now

If you looked back at your life right now, you will see a pattern in your life. A pattern that is apparent to everyone in hindsight. Think about the last time your life was imperfect, and something went wrong. You were in dire straits, you were crying, or angry about it, you felt like your life would never be the same again. Everything was tumbling upside down in that moment and perhaps for a few more moments after that.

Then, a few days after or a few weeks after, you wondered what all the fuss was all about? What were you so upset about? What happened? You might try to remember that anguish you felt, but the emotion you felt has faded in your mind, and you feel nothing for that oh-so-momentous occasion. It seemed so important back then. It seemed like everything was going to fall apart in your life, but nothing actually did. Everything is normal now, and you are back to the humdrum of everyday life. What happened there?

Not only that, you are sitting here a few years later, looking back at that part of your life, and you realize that that bad thing which happened to you needed to happen for you to be where you are right now. If that particular thing hadn’t happened, you wouldn’t be where you are right now.

Everything Is Perfect In Hindsight

I have noticed this pattern repeat over and over again with myself. Every single thing that has happened to me in my life, Every single thing has been perfect in hindsight. It had to happen exactly the way it did. Exactly the way it did. If it hadn’t happened the way it did, I would not be where I am right now.

Let’s start with an example from my life. I am writing this post in Chiang Mai right now, but how did I end up here? It started 8 years ago, when I went to a music festival in Northern Ontario with a friend, who is now a mother of 3 beautiful children, but was a wild child back then. The details are unimportant, but that’s what started my journey to Chiang Mai. Everything that happened had to happen for me to be here. All the men I dated, and broke up with, all the jobs I joined and left, all the dances I attended, all the schools I went to, all the parties… Everything was necessary for my transition here.

When I was going through a tough time, I couldn’t see the absolute perfection of it in the moment. It was too hard. I was too enamoured with being in pain. I couldn’t see straight as I was trying to play the victim role.

Oh, life is too cruel, and so hard on me. Everything sucks, and I’m in so much emotional or physical pain.

I made up this scenario in my head, and I couldn’t get out.

If Everything Is Perfect In Hindsight, Why Can’t It Be Perfect While It’s Happening?

Everything is all about perspective. Three people can look at lemon juice, and one sees a cleaning implement, another sees a weapon, and the third sees food. It’s all about how you spin things to yourself.

I believe one of the biggest reasons I have been to experience success in my life and in my mind, is because of how I have learned to spin things in a positive manner. No matter what is happening in my life right now, good or bad, I know it is happening because something good is going to come out of it.

I know and believe this truth. It’s because I know I am going to know and believe this truth in hindsight anyways – so why not know and believe it right now! I mean, the logical is infallible. Or it is infallible to me.

Everything Is Happening To Teach Us Something Or Take Us Some Place

The truth of it is that everything that is happening to you is happening to take you some place. Some place where you have never been before. Either it is taking you on an actual physical journey, or it is taking you on a spiritual sojourn. Wherever you are going, it is going to be different from where you are right now.

Things are happening to teach you more and more. Or take you to that other level where you can be a more evolved person than you are right now.

Even though we want to remain stagnant, and stay here, because it is more comfortable, we need to keep on moving upward and onward. The journey always continues, the music always keeps on playing, and the dance keeps on going.

The real question is are you going to look at all that happens with the eyes of a cynic, or the eyes of a believer?

Believe And The Magic Is Yours – Everything Is Happening For Your Good

I am a major magic fanatic right now, but not the kind of magic you are thinking of. It’s not about conjuring tricks, where you make cards appear out of your sleeve. But the kind of magic where the universe keeps on giving you more and more and more. It is a little bit insane.

The way I think of everything that is happening to me, good or bad, is all in terms of magic. It is all magical happenings, and there is no need to label it good or bad, because everything that is happening ends up being good in the end.

So many people are here to suffer. They think life is supposed to be all about suffering, and they go about their days thinking so. I don’t believe that anymore. I have seen way too many magical things happen in my life, and I have seen how everything, everything, everything is happening to make the stars shine for me.

When the world is so magical, how can I not believe that the universe is here to make my life as easy and uninhibited as possible?

Can You Believe Before You See Evidence?

There is no evidence for any of this. I can’t pull out statistics, or research, or graphs on any of this. It isn’t something that can be seen with the naked eye, or felt with the touch of a button. Nothing that you can access online, or check out offline. It isn’t something that can be smelled, or tasted. But that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.

The only ‘problem’ I would say with it is that you have to believe its existence before you can see it exists. It’s like you have to take a huge leap of faith. Take that leap into the unknown, and believe that the magic exists. Once you do that, the magic will just pop into your life at regular intervals, without you even trying.

We are all Magic Makers. We are all here to create magic in our lives, and in the lives of others. Some people have an easier time believing than others. It took me a long time to start believing, but once I believed, I was set in stone. I am trying to get other people to see the magic, and believe now.

It’s time for me to spread the goodness around. I showed my sister the magic the other day when she received a cheap parking space downtown Toronto out of the blue after just one conversation with a random security guard (ask me the story one day and I’ll tell you the thing in full).

Magic Makers Are The Dreamers, Creators, and Believers Of The Future

The main occupation that I want to have in the future is Magic Maker. I am already doing that on a regular basis, but I want to put it on a business card, so I can have more and more people believing the power of it all.

What do you want? What do you really want? Seriously ask yourself what do you want. I ask myself this question on a regular basis. What do I want today? Hmm, today, I would like a microwave in my new apartment for free. Okay, the universe says, I’ll deliver.

Tomorrow, I would like something different.

We can only create the future if we know what we want to create. Once we know, we can believe and ask and make it all happen. There is work involved, it isn’t all roses and manifesting. But there’s also the belief without which nothing happens. Nothing at all.
